Just perfect and it takes less space than a helmet when travelling, take the larger size for perfect fitting.
I used this hat for a whole season in Greece, and it provided great sun protection and safety. I recommend sizing up, although I measured my head, it still runs a bit small. I gave it 4 stars only because the inside of the hat sometimes shifts and needs to be readjusted.
Great design, super comfortable, seems very durable. I was right between sizes and went for the larger size which fits great. Would be good to know if we can purchase replaceable protective liners as it seems a shame to throw the whole hat away?
I have both Cap and Bucket. Both sit perfectly and do not move around while kiting. The cap is great during low setting Sun sessions. I use the bucket mainly on trips to Egypt where an Allrounder sun protection needed. The rim on my bucket should be stiffer as it can drop below eye level. I sewed a piece of Velcro onto the bucket to solve that issue. Other than that, great caps and an eye catcher on the beach.
Head is comfortable, but the flaps around the head should be stiffer. When foiling on sea, then the flab’s flutter and don’t give any solar protection.
